by observing the above two figures explain why candle extinguish in case (A) and still burning in case (B).​

Candle is extinguish in case A) because there is presence of oxygen, oxygen is necessary for burning.

Candle is still burning in case B) due to the presence of oxygen.

Answer:

In Figure A you'll see that the glass tube or u can say bucket is closed on the burning candle. Because there is no oxygen the candle extinguishes. When we need to light or fire something we need oxygen for that. In Figure B u can see that there are wood pieces under the glass bucket so the air carrying oxygen can pass through it. That's why the candle was still burning
