By seeing question I am telling you the answer that how to prove √5 irrational.
First let ✓5 is rational and two coprime integers a&b (b is not = to 0) √5=a/b
√5b=a (now square both sides)
So we will get 5b^2=a^2. ......(1)
As this equation we will put a^2=5c^2. .......(2)
Using 1 and 2 equation we got to know that in both equation it's not in p/q form and the two integers are coprime integers so it can't be rational so our assumption is wrong hence √5 is irrational
