\sf\underline{Step-by-step \: explanation}

Let the CP be 100

12% of 100= 12

As it is a loss then,

100-12= 88

The actual CP=

\dfrac{100}{88}× 9240

After Cancellation...

10,500 was the actual CP

If we want to gain 12 % then,

12% of 10500=

\dfrac{12}{100}×10500

After cancellation...

1260

CP+ profit = SP

10500+1260= 11760

Hence, at the cost the person should sell to gain 12% =

{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{\red{Rs. \: 11760}}}}}
