90∗x∗11100=1.  

x=1099.  

Now, let the number of oranges to be sold for 1 rupee for 10% profit be y, To get 10% profit he must sell it to 110% of cost price. So, we can write

110100∗10∗y99=1.  

y=9.  

Hence, the number of oranges he should sell to earn 10% profit is 9
