Let CP of 12 Oranges = X
SP of 12 Oranges = 1
So,
X - 10% of X = 1
0.9X = 1
X = 1.11
Thus,
CP of 12 oranges = Rs. 1.11
So, to gain 20%,
SP = 1.11 + 20% of 1.11 = 1.33
Now,
1.33 = 12 Oranges
1 = 12/1.33 = 9 Oranges.
So, In one rupee 9 oranges to be sold.
