Since it is given that the shopkeeper sells 35 greeting card at loss which is equal to sp of 5 greeting cards

Then,

Let sp of 1 greeting card be x

:. sp of 5 greeting cards =5x

And sp of 35 greeting cards =35x

According to question,

There is a loss

:. Cp = sp +loss

=35x + 5x

=40x

Now,

Loss%=(loss/cp × 100)%

=(5x/40x × 100)%

=25/2%or 12.5%

I hope this answer will help you!
