let sp of one article = x
sp of 300 articles = 300 x
sp of 25 articles (his loss) = 25 x
cp 0f 300 articles = 325 x
loss percent = × 100
loss percent = 7.7% (rounded)
given, cp (325 x) = 390
x = 1.20 bucks (rounded)
sp of 300 articles = 300 x
sp of 25 articles (his loss) = 25 x
cp 0f 300 articles = 325 x
loss percent = × 100
loss percent = 7.7% (rounded)
given, cp (325 x) = 390
x = 1.20 bucks (rounded)

Let each article SP = Re 1
for 300 articles, SP = Rs 300
Loss = Rs 25
CP = Rs 325
so, loss% = (25×100)/325 = 7.69 % loss
now, CP = Rs 390 for 300 articles
when CP is Rs 325 then for one article SP = Re 1
when CP is Re 1 then SP for one article = Rs 1/325
when CP is Rs 390 then SP for one article = Rs (1/325)×390 = Rs 1.20
for 300 articles, SP = Rs 300
Loss = Rs 25
CP = Rs 325
so, loss% = (25×100)/325 = 7.69 % loss
now, CP = Rs 390 for 300 articles
when CP is Rs 325 then for one article SP = Re 1
when CP is Re 1 then SP for one article = Rs 1/325
when CP is Rs 390 then SP for one article = Rs (1/325)×390 = Rs 1.20
