Solution :-

Let the Selling Price of one Orange = Rs. x

then the Selling Price of 4 oranges = Rs. 4x

Cost Price of 36 oranges = 36x + 4x = 40x

Loss = the Selling Price of 4 oranges = Rs. 4x

loss\% \: = \frac{loss}{c.p} \times 100

Substitute the Values , we get

Loss % =10 %
