By selling a bicycle for $819 vijay loses 9% At what price should he sell it to make a profit of 5%?

Let the cost price be x.

We know that Loss = SP-CP

                          SP = CP - LOSS

                          819 = x - (9x/100)

                          81900 = 91x

                              x = 81900/91

                                 = 900

Profit of 5% = 900 * 5/100

                    = 45.

C.P = 900 + 45 = 945.

He should sell it 945 rupees.
