for 1st case,

selling price (sp)=rs 67.50

loss%= 10%

cp =?

Now,

loss% =( cp - sp /cp ) * 100%

or ,10% =(cp - 67.5/cp)*100%

or, cp=10 cp -675

or, 675 = 9 cp

675/9 = cp

∴ cp = Rs75.4

for 2nd case

CP = 75.4

SP =82.5

Now,

Profit % = (sp - cp /cp)*100%

            =(82.5-75.4/75.4)*100%

         =  ( 7.1/75.4) * 1oo%

          = 710/75.4

          =9.4%

∴profit%=9.4%
