S.p of bucket= Rs 240
loss% = 20%
let C.p be Rs 100
then,
C.p = c.p/loss×S.p
C.p= 100/80×240= Rs 300
C.p = Rs 300
S.p= Rs 360
gain=Rs 360-300= 60
gain% = gain/ C.p×100%
gain%= 60/300×100%
= 20%
hence, blacksmith made a gain of 20%
loss% = 20%
let C.p be Rs 100
then,
C.p = c.p/loss×S.p
C.p= 100/80×240= Rs 300
C.p = Rs 300
S.p= Rs 360
gain=Rs 360-300= 60
gain% = gain/ C.p×100%
gain%= 60/300×100%
= 20%
hence, blacksmith made a gain of 20%
