Step-by-step explanation:

CP = (100 * SP) / (100+ Gain%)

CP = (100 * ₹ 1450) / (100 + 15)

CP = ₹ 145000 / 115

CP = ₹ 1260.8

Hey buddy

Hope this helps ...

S.P of ceiling fan = Rs. 1450

Gain percentage= 15%

Let the C.P be 'x'

Therefore,

or, x + 15% of x = Rs. 1450

or, x + 15/100 x = Rs. 1450

or, x + 15x/100 = Rs. 1450

or, 115x/ 100 = Rs. 1450

or, x = 1450×100/115

or, x = Rs. 1260. 869

Hope this is right ...

Have a nice day
