Given Selling price = 5500.

Given that Shopkeeper loses 1/10 of SP = 1/10 * 5500

                                                                   = 550.

Cost price will be = 5500 + 550 = 6050.

Loss incurred = 550/6050 * 100

                        = 9.09 (or) 9 1/11%.

Step-by-step explanation:

SP- 5500

shopkeeper loses1/10 of 5500

= 1/10 of 5500=550

CP=5500+550=6050 Rs.

loss incurred=550

CP=6050 rs.

loss%=550×100/6050=100/11

100/11= 9.09 or 9, 1/11
