Cost price + profit = sales price
and here sales price is given, that is ₹522.
and % of profit on it is 16%
Since we don't know the cost price, to calculate cost price first we have to calculate profit added on it .
Profit =. 522 × 16/116 = ₹ 72
Since profit is ₹72
here cost price will be 522 - 72 = ₹ 450
