Let cp of 1 dozen pencil = x Sp of 1 dozen pencil =15 Loss = 1/6 of x = x/6 Now loss +cp = sp => x/6 +x= 15 => 7x = 90 => x= 90/7 now when profit = 50% , sp = cp + Profit => sp = 90/7+ 50% of 90/6 = 90/7+ 45/7 =135/7

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

12 pencil's SP = 15₹

Each pencil's SP = 15/12 = 1.25₹

Loose on each pencil =(1/16)×100=6.25%

Therefore

CP of each pencil=

(1.25×100)/(100-6.25)=4/3

For 50% profit SP of each pencil

= (4/3)×(50/100)+(4/3)

=2₹
