Answer:

she should sell it for ₹550 to get 25% profit

Step-by-step explanation:

let the actual price of the pot be x

selling price with 20% intrest=528

x+20/100×x=528

x+x/5=528

take the lcm , LCM of 1and 5 is 1

(5x+x)/5=528

6x=2640

x= 2640/6

x=440

selling price with 25% of profit=

440+25/100×440

440+110

550

there fore selling price with 25% profit=₹550

she should sell it for₹550

the total cost with 20% profit=528

let the cost with out 20% profit be x

528=(20/100)×x+x

now let us take LCM

as we know LCM=100

we get (20x+100x)/100

120x/100=528

120x=52800

x=52800/120

x=₹440

actual cost of pot = ₹440

cost of pot with 25% = (25/100) ×440+440

we get 110+440= 550

cost of pot with 25% of profit=₹550
