Answer:

Rs. 9632

Step-by-step explanation:

selling price of mobile = 8500

loss % = 6 1/4 = 25/4%

cost price of mobile = selling price + loss%

let cost price be x

x = 8500 + ( \frac{ 6.25 }{100}  \times x) \\  \\ x -  \frac{6.25x}{100}  = 8500 \\ 100x - 6.25x = 8500 \times 100 \\ 93.75x = 8500  \times 100 \\ x =  \frac{8500 \times 100}{93.75}  \\ x = 90.66 \times 100 \\ x = 9066

cost price of mobile = Rs. 9066

to get a profit of 6 1/4 % she needs to sell at

selling price = cost price + profit%

 = 9066 + ( \frac{6.25}{100}  \times 9066) \\  = 9066 +( 6.25 \times 90.66) \\  = 9066 + 566 \\  = 9632

selling price should be = Rs. 9632
