Hi,

Here

It's given that
Dealer gain 15%

Therefore
C. P < S. P

Therefore

15 % of 23000
= 15/100 × 23000
= 3450

Therefore
23000 - 3450 = 19550

Therefore
The cost price = 19550

The cost price of motorcycle is 20000.
The formula is c.p= s.p÷(1+15/100)
23000÷115/100
23000*100/115=20000
