Answer:

Let C.P. of plot be x

S. P. of plot = 17220 rs.

profit% = 15%

So using

profit

——-- × 100% = 5%

C. P.

profit = 15x/100

So C. P. = S. P. - profit

x = 17220 - 5x/100

x +  \frac{5x}{100}  = 17220 \\  \\  \frac{105x}{100} \:  \:   = 17220 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\ x \:  =  \frac{17220 \times 100}{105}  \\  \\  \\  \\  \\ x = 16400  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

Now Cp = 16400

So profit %= 15%

Sp = CP + (CP×P%)/100

Sp = 16400 + (16400 × 15)/100

Sp = 16400 + 2460

SP = 18840 rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

s.p=17,220

profit=5/

when s.p is ₹105c.p=100

s.p is c.p=100/105

when s.p is ₹ 17,220=100/105×17,220

=16,400

Gain=15/

s.p=115/100 ×16,400

=18,860 ANS
