Given:

  • S.P(selling price) of refrigerator = ₹4725
  • Profit% = 5%

To finD:

  • C.P( cost price) of refrigerator?

Solution :

Here, we are given SP and Profit% of refrigerator. We have to find CP of refrigerator from the given value of SP and profit%.

We know that :

If Selling price and profit percent is given and need to find cost price of object, formula is as :-

\large{\sf{CP\:=\:\dfrac{SP×100}{100+profit\%}}}

Let put known values in formula :-

\large{\sf{CP\:=\:\dfrac{SP×100}{100+profit\%}}}

\large{\implies{\sf{CP\:=\: \dfrac{4725×100}{100+5}}}}

\large{\implies{\sf{CP\:=\:\dfrac{472500}{105}}}}

\large{\implies{\sf{CP\:=\: {\cancel{\dfrac{472500}{105}}}}}}

\large{\implies{\sf{CP\:=\:4500}}}

Therefore,

\huge{\boxed{\large{\mathfrak{\blue{Cost\: price\:of\: refrigerator\:=\:₹4500}}}}}
