Given

S. P of steel = 3906

Loss = 294

C.P = S .P + Loss
= 3906 + 294
= 4198
Now ,

Loss % =( Loss / C.P ) X 100 %

= 294 / 4198 X 100 %

= 0. 07 X 100 %

= 7 %

Hence , it's seven percentage .
