Step-by-step explanation:

hi.......

so,let the cp is equal to x

since we know that the gain and the loss percent is always taken of CP

therefore,

4%loss=4x/100

so,loss =4x/100

loss=cp-sp

therefore.....4x/100=x-648

4x=100(x-648)

4x=100x-64800

96x=64800

therefore....x=64800/96

64800 \div 96 = 675

so,CP =675

now....

let the SP for how much he should sell be y

as mentioned above that the gain or loss per cent is always of the CP

therefore....4per cent gain=4×675/100

=27

gain=sp-cp

therefore....27=y-675

675+27=y

therefore....y=702
