S.P =8000rs

C.P=SP+Loss

C.P=8000+20/100×8000

C.P=8000+1600

C.P=9600rs

Now, in second case :

S.P=11000rs

since,S.P>C.P

therefore,Profit =11000- 9600

=1400rs

So, profit percent=profit/cp×100

=1400/9600×100

=14.583%

So,he will earn a profit of 14.583%.

hope it helps........
