By selling a TV for rupees 8000 a shopkeeper loses 20% of his cost. if he sells it for ₹ 11000, what profit or loss would be there for him​

Given.

SP =8000 rupees.

loses =20%.

since CP =100/100-loses× SP.

=100/100-20× 8000.

=100/80×8000.

=10000 rupees.

now again SP is given=11000.

so gain =11000-10000.

=1000 rupees.

Gain%=(1000/10000×100)%.

=(1/10×100)%

=10%
