Let C.P. of TV = x
Loss in selling TV = 20% means he gets 80% of value of TV
∴ 80% of x = ₹ 8000
x = ₹ 8000 x 100/80 = ₹ 10000
∴ C.P. = ₹ 10000
Now S.P. = ₹ 11000
∴ Profit = ₹11000-₹10000 = ₹1000
∴ Profit % = ₹1000/₹10000 x 100
= 10% Profit Ans.
