by selling a TV set a retailer suffered a loss of 5% had he sold it for rupees 2880 more he would have received a profit of 10% what was the CP of the TV set​

Answer:

Let the CP be ₹100, profit 5% is ₹5

If profit is 10%, diff in profit = ₹5

If diff in profit is ₹5, CP is ₹100.

Hence for a difference of ₹1000, CP will be 1000/5 × 100=20000.
