Given:

  • SP of TV is ₹13500
  • Loss = 20%

To find:

  • CP of TV ?

Solution:

Here, given that on selling a TV on ₹13500, shopkeeper losses 20%.

Let suppose that CP of TV is x

∵ Given that shopkeeper get loss of 20%

Therefore,

80% of x = 13500

\dfrac{80x}{100} = 13500

\dfrac{8x}{10} = 13500

→ 8x = 13500×10

→ 8x = 135000

→ x =\dfrac{135000}{8}

→ x = 16875

Hence,

  • CP of TV is ₹16875
