Ans= 2%loss

Selling price = 10416
Gain = 12%
So actual gain = 1116
Then
Cost price = 9300
So when he sold on 9114 then
Loss = 186
% loss = 2%

Hii..
Here is your answer...

Solution:-
Let the CP be x.
Gain=12℅
SP=x + 12℅ of x
= > x + \frac{12}{100}x = 10416
= > \frac{100x + 12x}{100} = 10416 \\ = > \frac{112}{100}x = 10416
= > x = \frac{10416 \times 100}{112} \\ = > x = 9300
Cost price=9300
Selling Price =9114

Since,SP<CP
So,it's a loss

Hence,
Loss=CP-SP
= > 9300 - 9114 \\ = > 186
Now,
loss\% = \frac{loss}{cp} \times 100 \\ = > \frac{186}{9300} \times 100 \\ = > 2

Hence,
Loss is 2%

Hope it helps uh...✌️✌️✌️
