Step-by-step explanation:

let cp be 100

sp on 15%profit=115

hence,cp including repairing charge=(amount×cp)/sp

=(264500×100)/115

=230000

actual cp =230000-72560

=157440

selling price, s=264500

total cost, t = c+72560 .......(1)

where c is cost at which he bought the apartment.

now according to question

s=t+10 percent of t,

s=t+0.15t

putting value of t from eqn 1

s=(c+72560)+0.15(c+72560)

putting value of s

264500=1.15c+10884+72560

264500=1.15c+83444

1.15c=264500-83444

1.15c=181056

c=181056/1.15

c=157440

so he purchased the apartment at 157440 rupees
