If the SP of article be x,

then its CP = x - \frac{x}{4} = \frac{3x}{4}Rs.

\therefore Gain \% = \frac{\frac{x}{4}}{\frac{3x}{4}}\times 100

= \frac{100}{3} = 33\frac{1}{3}\%
