So, C.P. = 100/100-5 × 950

100/95 × 950

So, C.P. = RS. 1000

By selling it for RS. 1040:-

Gain = rs.(1040-1000) = RS. 40

SO, GAIN% = 40/1000 × 100

So, Gain = 4%..
