Answer:

Let the CP be Rs 100.

Loss = 9% i.e. Rs 9

SP will be Rs (100-9) =Rs 91

Now, By Unitary method

If 91 is SP , then 100 is CP.

And if 4550 is SP , CP will be 100/91 *4550 = Rs 5000.

Now, New SP = 4825

We can see , CP is greater than SP , so again loss = (5000-4825) = Rs 175.

Loss % = 175/5000 *100 = 7/2 = 3.5

Answer:

your answer is here buddy

Step-by-step explanation:

SP of article=4550 Rs

loss%=9%

first we find the CP

CP = SP ×100/100-loss%

CP= 4550×100/100-9

CP = 455000/91 or we can write 455000÷91

CP= 5000 Rs

therefore , loss = CP-Sp

= 5000-4550

= 450 Rs

as per condition

if he sells it for Rs 4825

then, again CP > SP therefore , again he get loss by selling it.

since, loss = CP - SP

= 5000-4825

= 175 Rs

loss% = loss/CP ×100

= 175/5000×100

=175÷50

=3.5%
