by selling an articles for 300 a man gain 25 . at what price should he sell the article to gain 25

You already given Selling price then why you asking for selling price? Any way if SP is 300 I am going to find out CP

SP = 300

CP = a

300/a  x 100 = 125

a = 30000/125 = 240

CP = Rs. 240

If CP is 300 SP should be as follows

CP = 300

SP = 300  x 125/100 = Rs. 375

You decide what you want selling price cost price.
