Selling Price of the Item = Rs. 434
Profit % = 24 %.

Using the Formula,

 S.P. = [(100 + P%)/100] × C.P.
434 = [(100 + 24)/100] × C.P.
43400 = 124 × C.P.
C.P. = 43400/124
C.P. = Rs. 350

Hence, the cost price of the item is Rs. 350.

Hope it helps.
