so 25%240\dfrac{25}{100}\times240=60

Therefore he earns 60 Rs as profit on 240 Rs, Therefore the original price Of an article=240-60=180

Now if he would sell an article for 216 Rs i.e. he is making a profit of 36 Rs.

So we need to calculate how much % is 36 of 180 Rs

\dfrac{x}{100}\times180=36

x=20%

Therefore our final answer would be 20%
