Let x be the Original Price

Rate per dozen = Rs. 72

Loss on selling I dz = 10% of x

⇒x- 10% of x= 72

⇒9x/10= 72

x= Rs. 80

So,Original Price per dozen is Rs. 80

Now if sold Rs. 720 per 100

then,Rate per dozen Banana = 720/100 * 12

= Rs. 86.40

∴Profit % = ΔRate/Original Price * 100%

=6.40/80 * 100%

=8%
