4 pen=₹10
1 pen = 10/4=₹ 2.5
profit = 20/100×10=₹2

4:10::12:x
x=30
30/100x=10/100
x =10×100/30×100=1/3

Answer:

X =  ₹ 20.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Let the C.P be 100 unit

S.P of the one Pen = 10/4 = 2.25

C.P=?

According to the question, the shopkeeper make 20% profit

means the S.P is the 120 unit.

S.P = 2.25 = 120 unit

120 unit = ₹ 2.25

100 unit = 2.25/120

C.P of 1 pen is ₹ 1.875

To find out the S.P at 10% loss

Means 90 unit is the S.P

100 unit = ₹ 1.875

90 unit = ₹ 1.875/100*90 = ₹ 1.6875

so the S.P per dozen is = ₹ 1.6875  * 12

S.P = ₹ 20.25

There for the X =  ₹ 20.25
