By selling silk cloth for 155rs a metre, a shopkeeper gains 25%. How much profit does he get by selling 200 metres of the silk cloth?

Given on selling 1 m cloth for Rs 155 the shopkeeper gain 25% That for 1 m cloth gain is (25/100) x 155 = Rs 38.75 Gain for 200 m cloth = ? Hence gain on selling 200 m cloth = Rs 38.75 x 200 = Rs 7750
