Given:

The sugar selling price is 5.58 Rs / KG

SP = 5.58

CP (Cost Price) = ?

Loss % = 7%

Gain % = ?

CP = ( 100 / 100 - Loss%) * SP

     = (100 / 100 - 7 ) * 5.58

     = 6

Hence CP = 6 Rs.

SP = 5.58 Rs.

In order to get 7 % Profit

=7*CP/100

=7*6/100

= 0.42 Rs

= CP + 7% Profit

= 6 + 0.42

= 6.42 Rs.
