Gain=25%
so, C.P we can find by this formula,
C.P=100/(100+gain%)*S.P
OR, 100/(100+25%)*240
OR, 100/125*140=Rs.192
Now we know, C.P=Rs.192
Now, what if S.P = Rs.204
Here, in this case, C.P<S.P
SO THERE IS GAIN
NOW, GAIN = S.P-C.P=204-192=Rs.12
Now gain%=gain/C.P*100=12/192*100=6.25%
ANSWER: 6.25%
