during the 1 decade of 21 century there were the already establishment of Indian national Congress in 1885. here the moderates ideology believe in the constitutional reform in the country with the help of Britishers. and extremists believed in to Excell out the Britishers from India. in the year 1905 there were the incident happended where lord Curzon has announced the partition of the Bengal. which divided the western and Eastern Bengal with giving the reason of administrative related problm but this was not so, as Britishers wanted to divide the people of Hindu and Muslims community. in the year 1907, there were the conflict between the moderates and extremists, and Surat conference has divided the ideology of the older and the younger one. this is known as the Surat split.
dusting this the Muslim league was established in the year 1906 by agha khan with the help of Britishers as Britishers made them confident of providing a special electorate.
during this time people were active in the movements headed by the some extremists leaders like LAL bal and pal. in the year 1908 Tilak was arrested as given a statement against Britishers in the kesari newspaper. this harmed the public most. and people didnt provided any leadership and they used their movements individually.
