Answer:

The Bulkan region is the area which was situated in the eastern and southeastern Europe. The Bulkans had a popular and violent history related to the Ottoman conquest and the mountainous geography. The region became a source of nationalist tension in Europe due to many reasons. The Ottomon Empire disintegrated with the romantic nationalism and made the area explosive. The Empire wanted to strengthen the empire but failed. As a result all the European nationalities declared themselves as independent.
