Answer :-

Explainition of Answer

On the first line I used finished , because there sentence which is used for past tense we can find it by thing that last year so for past tense we must use Ed form of verb .

On the second sentence it is about present perfect and the people who is telling about himself is not has given a particular date for leaving the friendship .
