Answer: Arranging the numbers in ascending order;

36 , 40 , 48 , 63 , 78 , 80 , 85 , 92 , 96 , 98

The highest number is 98 and the lowest number is 36.

Mean = \frac{SUM OF THE NUMBERS}{NUMBER OF NUMBERS}

=  \frac{36 + 40 + 48 + 63 + 78 + 80 + 85 + 92 + 96 + 98}{10}

= \frac{716}{10}

=71.6
