4x²+3x+5 = 0

add and subtract 9/16

4x²+3x +(9/16)+5-(9/16)= 0

(2x+(3/4))² +71/16= 0

(2x+(3/4))² = -71/16

since square of any real number can not be negative thus the equation have no real roots
