since 2C+3/2O2=CO+CO2.....

so.... 2 mole C reacts with 1.5 moles of O2 to form 1 mole of co and

1 mole of CO2.....
Now it is given ...
12gm carbon_____ ie 1 mole carbon...needs 0.7 moles of o2___ie 10.2 gm ,

hence rest of O2 remains...
so from mole-mole analysis,....

2 mole C forms 1 mole of both CO and CO2....
hence 1 mole C will form 0.5 moles of both...
so weight of CO formed is 12+16=28gm*0.5=14gm

and weight of CO2 forms is 12+32=44gm*0.5=22gm
