Given:-

  • (1-x+x²)⁴

Solution:-

\\

♦ BINOMIAL EXPANSION ♦

→ Binomial Theorem's meant for "two" variables !

→ Use : [ ( 1 + x ) + x² ]⁴ = ⁴C₀( 1 + x )⁴ + ⁴C₁( 1 + x )³( x² ) + ...

    to get :

→ Expansion = [ 1 + 4x + 10x² + 16x³ + 19x⁴ + 16x⁵ + 10x⁶ + 4x⁷ + x⁸ ]

Otherwise, you can surely use the Pascal's Triangle !!

• The easiest way to do it is, finding the Variants !! In this case, its :

→ Just like Binomial Pascal, this one adds three to one !
