2x² - 7x + 3 = 0 

x² - 7/2 x + 3/2 = 0 

(x - 7/4)² + 3/2 - 49/16 = 0 

(x - 7/4)² = 25/16 

x - 7/4 = ± 5/4 

x = 5/4 + 7/4 = 3

x = -5/4 + 7/4 = 1/2 

x = 3, 1 / 2
