Answer:Let name the points--A(4,2) B(7,5) C(9,7)AB=√{(7-4)^2+(5-2)^2}=√(9+9)=3√2BC=√{(9-7)^2+(7-5)^2}=√(4+4)=2√2AC=√{(9-4)^2+(7-2)^2}=√(25+25)=5√23√2+2√2=5√2AB+BC=ACIt means B cut AC.

Hence A, B, C lies on same line. Therefore A, B, C are collinear.
