By Using Euclid's Division lemma find the HCF of ,135 and 225​

by Euclid's division lemma ,

a= bq +r

here, a = 225 , b = 135

225 = 135 × 1 + 90

135 = 90×1+45

90 = 45×2+0

so the HCF is 45

By applying Euclid division lemma

a = bq + r

225 = 135 * 1 + 90

90 ≠ 0

Again ,

135 = 90 * 1 + 45

45 ≠ 0

Again ,

90 = 45 * 2 + 0

0 = 0

This Stage remainder is zero

Hence ,  the divisor is 45 and HCF is 45
